A Little About Lisa

A perfect lunch date for Lisa McKendrick would include Jane Austen, William Golding, and Nora Ephron at a table with a view at Nobu Malibu. As the excellent wait staff kept the food and drinks coming, Lisa would take notes as her favorite authors talked about their lives and their stories. And at the end, Jane would smile wide, exposing teeth untouched by modern dentistry, and announce that she would be picking up the tab, because, as it turns out, she is worth a bazillion dollars. Lisa McKendrick loves love and laughter, and she loves writing about the two. So, when she's not busy taking the edge off of motherhood by cracking open a cold Fresca, she is writing. Plus, she does other stuff too, like playing mediocre tennis and hunting for cool antiques.
